The restrictions imposed by Covid 19 not only lead to standstill and stagnation. They can also lead to inspiration and accelerated innovation.
In the traditional stone industry it became clear even before Covit 19 hit that there would have to be digital methods to virtually replace the traditional analog old master laying out and composing of stone slabs in the workshop of the stone supplier. A civil engineer and Siliconforest, a digital spinoff of bangertprojects took these facts as an opportunity to develop software together with the Italian stone industry and international architectural offices to handle valuable stones in an old masters' and at the same time ultra modern way.
